    P. G. Department of Commerce organized an insightful field visit to J&K Bank (Town Hall Branch) on February 6th, 2024, exclusively for the students of M Com. fourth semester. The visit aimed at providing the students with a practical understanding of financial operations and management. Under the guidance of Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Branch Head, J&K Bank (Town Hall), students had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, which delve into various facets of banking & finance, gaining firsthand experience in areas such as investment banking, risk management, credit analysis and financial advisory services.

The meeting was held to approve the syllabi of B.Com. Honours 7th and 8th semester (NEP) and B.Com Honours with research 8th semester under NEP.

  • The Commerce Department of the University of Jammu commemorated Martyrs' Day on January 30, 2024 with a solemn tribute to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. As a part of the commemorative event, Head of the Department, Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, faculty members and students gathered to pay homage to the martyrs who made unparalleled sacrifices during India's struggle for freedom.
