Eligibility Criteria:
Must have passed/appeared in the final year of Bachelor Degree Examination securing requisite percentage of aggregate marks  with BSc Home Science, B.A with Home Science as one subject, or BSc with Medical Stream. 80% of the seats shall be reserved for candidate with Home Science and 20% for those with Medical stream. Within 80%, first preference shall be given to the candidates who have passed their qualifying exam in B.Sc Home Science and second preference will be given to those who have passed Bachelors’ Degree with Home Science as one subject.

2. Ph.D.  Home Science:  As  per  UGC  guideline, at  Research  level, the  candidates  are   offered  Ph.D. Programme   in Home  Science. The  Department has  so far produced  48 Ph.Ds.
