Industrial visit to Chandigarh flagged off by ICccR & HRM, JU for the students of MBA (IB)

The department of International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM), University of Jammu is excited to announce the flagging off of an industrial visit to Chandigarh for the students of MBA (IB) semester I and semester III. This visit is aimed at providing students with practical exposure to industry trends, corporate operations, and the evolving business landscape.

The industrial visit will take place from November 13, 2024 to November 14, 2024. During the visit the students will visit corporate offices and manufacturing units of leading companies namely SML Isuzu Ltd., Verka Chandigarh Dairy and Bubber Indutries Pvt. Ltd. Panchkula in and around Chandigarh as part of this visit. The trip aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world business practices, providing students with valuable insights into the working of top-tier organizations.

Additionally, the students will get an opportunity to interact with industry leaders, management professionals, and business experts, gaining a deeper understanding of various business functions including marketing, finance, operations, and human resources. The industrial visit also includes guided tours of state-of-the-art facilities, presentations, and Q&A sessions.

Prof. Hardeep Chahal, Director ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu, flagged off the visit with an inspiring address, highlighting the importance of experiential learning in shaping the careers of MBA (IB) students.
