Objectives and Functions
Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance :-
- To undertake intervention strategies for encouraging self-evaluation, accountability and continual improvement in all the systems and processes of the university for student and stakeholder satisfaction.
- To take steps for periodic assessment and accreditation of the university under NAAC leading to continual improvement.
- To collaborate with other institutions, governing bodies, private sector, government, alumni, civil society etc for improvement of Quality and brand image of the University.
- To establish quality benchmarks for the affiliated colleges and evolve mechanism for ensuring conformance to Quality.
- Conducting trainings, lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences, group discussions etc. for developing and enriching the intellectual capital of the University and civil society of Jammu region.
