Event and Management Club of P. G. Department of Commerce organised Poster Making Competition on the theme “Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of the Youth”

In continuation to the essay writing competitionto commemorate the ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ celebration where the participants penned down their creative thoughts to make India a develop nation by 2047, the 100th year of its Independence, Event and Management Club of P. G. Department of Commerce organisedposter making competition among the scholars and students of M.Com. The competition is organised to sensitize participants towards transformation, development and sustainable growth of India as it approaches its centenary year of Independence. Dr Jeevan Jyoti, HoD Commerce greeted and congratulated the participants for their whole hearted participation and stated that poster making competition on the theme Viksit Bharat@ 2047 is a platform where they can express their creativity while addressing contemporary issues and envisioning the future. She further added that through such events, the department encourages holistic development and civic engagement. Participants depicted their vision and aspirations for a thriving and developed nations through the medium of art accompanied by relevant captions and slogans.Participants showcased their vision on various aspects of development like economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance. Students participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm. All faculty members of the Department judged the competition. Dr Harleen Kaur, Coordinator of Event & Management Club and Dr. Deepti Abrol, Deputy Coordinator of Event & Management Club coordinated the whole event. Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, HoD applauded the efforts of the students and distributed the certificates.
