JU Directorate of Sports & Physical Education organised marathon under the event Viksit Bharat@2047

Jammu, December 20: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu today organized Marathon under the event Viksit Bharat@2047in which around 160 students participated. The Viksit Bharat@2047 which was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi through virtual mode the initiative ‘Viksit Bharat@2047; Voice of Youth’ that seeks to involve the Universities and students in attaining the goal of a developed India by 2047.

Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu congratulated the students and also appreciated the efforts of the teaching staff and their entire team to make the above said event successful.

The following students secured 1st, 2nd, &3rd positions in (Men & Women) category.

MIER JAMMU CLAIMED I/C BADMINTON (WOMEN) TITLE

 

MIER Jammu outplayed PG. Dept.JU by 2-0 and lifts the Inter-Collegiate Badminton (Women) Trophy in the ongoing Inter Collegiate Badminton (Women) Tournament 2023-24 organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Gymnasium Hall.

Final match:

MIER Jammu beat PG. Deptt. by 2-0

MIET Jammu beats GDC Vijaypur by 2-1

The Inter Collegiate Badminton (Women) Tournament 2023-24 was organized under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, and University of Jammu.
