P. G. Department of Commerce organized guest lecture on “Career Opportunities in RBI” on 19^th December, 2023. The event was organised by the Department under the able guidance of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, HoD Commerce who urged to take a proactive step towards enhancing career opportunities for the students. Mr. Rohit Rawat, Assistant Manager RBI and Mrs. Kannagi Lath were the resource person of the event. Mr. Rohit Rawat apprised the students about various placement avenues in banking sector with special focus on RBI. He also enlightened the students regarding entry strategies and skill required to face the interview in banking sector.

Mrs. Kannagi Lath familiarised the students with the work culture of the banking sector. She further informed the participants about the eligibility requirements to apply for the jobs. During the engaging session, students had the opportunity to interact with the resource person, posing questions and gaining valuable advice on pursuing a career in the RBI. The Quiz contest was also conducted for the students during the session. They also enlightened the students about the various career opportunities available in other sectors as well. The proceedings were handled by Dr. Rupa Mahajan. Other faculty members present in the event are Dr. Tarsem Lal, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Harleen Kaur, Dr. Vishal Gupta, Dr. Sumeet Kour and Dr. Deepti Abrol.
