Event and Management Club of P. G. Department of Commerce organised Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of the Youth”

Event and Management Club of P. G. Department of Commerce organised Essay Writing Competition to commemorate the ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ among the scholars and students of M-Com. The competition aimed to provide a platform for young minds to reflect on the theme Viksit Bharat@2047, envisioning the future development and progress of India as it approaches its centenary year of Independence. Students are encouraged to delve into various aspects such as economic growth, sustainable development, technological advancement and societal harmony.  Dr Jeevan Jyoti introduced the theme to the participants and impressed upon the young minds to use their creativity and intellectual skills to depict their vision of how India might evolve over the next 25 years. She further added that this competition is organised to foster a sense of imagination, innovation and patriotism among the participants.

Participants portrayed their vision on the themes like Empowered Indians, Thriving & Sustainable Economy, Startups in India, Innovation, Science & Technology, Good Governance & Security, India in the world, etc. Participants were evaluated on the basis of relevance to the theme, originality, creativity and the message conveyed. Prof. Neetu Andotra was the judge of the event. Dr Harleen Kaur, Coordinator of Event & Management Club and Dr. Deepti Abrol, Deputy Coordinator of Event & Management Club coordinated the whole event. Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, HoD applauded the efforts of the students and distributed the certificates. Other faculty members attended the event are Dr. Tarsem Lal, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Rupa Mahajan, Dr.Vishal Gupta and Dr. Sumeet Kour.
