Weeklong workshop Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic "Machine Learning, Theory, and Application with a Special Focus on Electroencephalography, Document, and Sign Gestures Analysis." Organized by the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, in collaboration with HRDC centre, University of Jammu, iHUB Divya Sampark, IIT Roorkee & LTU Sweden commenced here today. The FDP is scheduled to take place from December 19th to December 23rd, 2023.

The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Harvinder Singh (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Doda, who addressed the august gathering. In his speech, DC Doda congratulated the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jammu for launching the "Design Your Degree" program, a unique intiatve that transform the educational scenerios of the UT of JK. He emphasized the importance of women empowerment and commended the efforts of Bhaderwah Campus in hosting such enlightening initiatives. “This collaborative effort between Bhaderwah Campus, HRDC Centre JU, LTU Sweden and iHUB Divya Sampark, IIT Roorkee, marks a significant stride in fostering knowledge exchange and advancing research in the field of machine learning,” he added
