ViksitBharat@2047: Shaping India's Vision for a Prosperous Future, celebrated by P.G. Department of Education

The P.G. Department of Education kickstarted activities for ViksitBharat@2047 on December 14, 2023, by organizing essay writing and group discussions among postgraduate students of the department. The theme of the essay covered 'How should Viksit Bharat look in 2047?' while the group discussion topic for ViksitBharat@2047 focused on 'What do we need to do to reach the goal?' Additionally, the department will be conducting further activities as part of ViksitBharat@2047 to delve deeper into the vision and goals outlined during the essay writing and discussions.

The key points that emerged from these activities include envisioning India in 2047 as a nation with the potential to emerge as a global leader in education, healthcare, infrastructure, technology and innovation, good governance and leadership, cultural richness, economic prosperity, digital connectivity, and agricultural advancement. In the years to come, India is anticipated to evolve into a hub of trade and commerce, fostering a thriving business environment that will attract visitors from around the world. This, in turn, is expected to reduce poverty, unemployment, and lead to a hunger-free India with no child labor.

India is poised to lead among nations, embracing high living standards, entrepreneurship, achieving the fundamental goals of sustainable development, and evolving into a developed nation with a meta-power hub in the fields of national security, support services, and GDP growth. This entails ensuring fulfillment in all aspects of a decent, civilized, and prosperous nation superpower. The journey toward this vision demands constant efforts from the government, top-notch reformers, policy-makers, as well as citizens working collaboratively to shape a brighter and more prosperous future for our nation in 2047.

Continuing with the series of the activities under the ViksitBharat@ 2047 on 15th December 2023 department of education organized symposium for the theme “What can you do to make ViksitBharat@ 2047 possible?” The key points that emerged from this activity include practicing those activities that lead to fulfill our aspiration in coming future as a super power in the world. We as citizens are responsible for the progress of nation and should make constant efforts for making viksit bharat a reality. The most important areas that need consideration for this noble cause includes startup initiatives, vocational skills, eco-friendly policies, environmental awareness, education, eco friendly technology, improving standards of life, self improvement, self reliance, skill oriented education, corruption free India, resources utilization and mobility of resources, awareness regarding population explosion and its consequences on future of our nation. With these initiatives and strong determination to improve our present system, will be our first move in this direction.
