1. Department of Commerce

• Dr. Ritika Sambyal

Dr. Ritika Sambyal has teaching as well as 7 years of research experience. She has done her Doctoral Degree from the Department of Commerce, University of Jammu, on the Topic “Examining the Outcomes of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives of Companies in Punjab State” under the supervision of Dr. Gurjeet Kaur Sahi, Department of Commerce, University of Jammu, Jammu, India. Her research is acknowledged in national and international Journals such as Vikalpa: The Journal for Decision Makers, Journal of Global Marketing, International Journal for Innovative Research etc. She has presented research papers in various national and international conferences.

• Dr. Kamani Dutta

Dr. Kamani Dutta has teaching as well as 5 years of research experience. She has completed her Doctoral Research Degree on the topic “Exploring determinants, dimensions and outcomes of customer experience in selected services” under the supervision of Prof Hardeep Chahal from Department of Commerce, University of Jammu. She has attended many national and international conferences as well as workshops. Her research is acknowledged in national and international Journals such as The Marketing Review, Decision and NICE Journal of Business.

• Mr. Nikhil Khajuria

In addition to his six years of teaching responsibilities, he is pursuing his Ph.D. from Mittal school of business, Lovely professional University on the broader area of behavioral finance and cryptocurrencies. He has authored and published several papers reputed scopus indexed, web of science, and UGC care listed journals covering topics such as Blockchain and AI in finance, Cryptocurrencies, Behavioral finance, financial inclusion, and women entrepreneurship. Furthermore, he has presented his research findings at various national and international conferences at the reputed intuitions like IIMs, University of Delhi, etc.

• Dr. Jyotishna

Dr. Jyotishna holds a Ph.D. in commerce from the University of Jammu under the supervision of Prof. R. D. Sharma and Prof. Sandeep Tandon. Her research focuses on " Exploring the Impact of Occupational Stress on Job performance and quality of work life with a case study of J&K Police. Her work appears in UGC carelist and other peer reviewed Journals. Her academic interests includes Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management

• Dr. Jyoti Sharma 

Dr. Jyoti Sharma holds a Ph.D. in commerce from the University of Jammu under the supervision of Prof. Neetu Andotra. Her research focuses on " Exploring relationship between learning organisational inputs and performance outcomes in General Insurance Sector. She has published extensively on Learning environment, learning practices and dynamics, innovation, service quality and adaptation to change. Her work appears in UGC carelist and other peer reviewed Journals. Dr Sharma has qualified NET- JRF in commerce. Her academic interests includes organisation behaviour, financial management and HRM.

• Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma 

 In addition to his 10-plus years of teaching experience, he is pursuing his Ph.D. Also, he has published several research papers of international repute covering topics such as Service marketing, Service quality, etc.. Also, he has presented his research findings at various national and international conferences at reputed institutions.

• Dr. Prerna Katoch 

Dr. Prerna Katoch holds a Ph.D. degree in School of Business by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra. Her research focuses on the relationship of entrepreneurial orientation, digitalization and firm Performance of women entrepreneurs of J&K. She has qualified UGC-NET in Commerce.Dr. Katoch has published her research work in various reputed high impact journals ABDC/ SCI/SCIE and Scopus journals and also presented her papers in International conferences.Her academic interests include Entrepreneurship,Finance,Marketing

2. Department of Economics

• Ms. Taruna Dubey

Ms. Taruna Dubey is working as Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu, India. She had joined the campus on 21-08-2012 having 9 years of teaching experience. She has attended and presented number of papers in various national and international conferences. She has also published papers in various reputed journals and edited books. She has attended online workshops regarding research and faculty development programmes. She has two years of research experience. She had attended and organised workshops and webinars.

• Dr. Sunita Kumari 

Dr. Sunita Kumari holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Jammu under the supervision of Prof. Prakash. C. Antahal. Her research focuses on the financial performance of state power utilities with a case study of Jammu and Kashmir. She has published extensively on issues like unemployment, trade, energy losses, and the role of co-operatives in economic growth. Her work appears in reputed journals such as IJRA and IMPACT. Her academic interests include public sector performance, development economics, and macroeconomic policy. Dr. Kumari’s research combines empirical analysis with policy relevance, particularly in the context of regional and national development.

• Dr. Maliha Batool 

Dr. Maliha Batool is having Doctorate degree in Economics from the Department of Economics (University of Jammu) under the supervision of Prof. Prakash C. Antahal. Her research focuses on the pattern of energy consumption among rural and urban households of Jammu and Kashmir. She has published more than ten papers in reputed scopus, care listed and ugc journals on issues like , energy and its role in the economic growth, empirical analysis of fuel mix, infrastructure as a tool of development etc. Her academic interests include infrastructure economics, energy economics, development economics, macro economics and Public policy.
