Library Facility and Learning Resource

The Department has its own fully air-conditioned, automated library consisting of around 15,156 books on different aspects of Political Science to cater the specific and specialized needs of students, research scholars and faculty. The library collection has also been entered into the Libsys-7 digital Database and an online public access catalogue (OPAC) to facilitate the search for library resources. The library has access to e-journals subscribed by the Central Library i.e EBSCO, SCOPUS J-STOR at the terminals in the Department Library. The library subscribed to important National and State level newspapers and magazines for the benefit of its users. The library collection is enriched by purchasing the latest books on an annual basis. Apart from this, the internet facility is also provided in the library for students and scholars, rooms for faculty members and the office of the department. One classroom of the department has been made a smart classroom by installing the essential infrastructure. Additionally, the Seminar Room has also been made IT enabled.
