Cradled in the lap of mountains at the foothills of auspicious Trikuta, besides the river Tawi at an altitude of 1030 ft. is Jammu. This 'city of temples' has many places...
The Commerce Department of the University of Jammu commemorated Martyrs' Day on January 30, 2024 with a solemn tribute to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. As a part of the commemorative event, Head of the Department, Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, faculty members and students gathered to pay homage to the martyrs who made unparalleled sacrifices during India's struggle for freedom. In classrooms across the Commerce Department, students joined together in a silent tribute, reflecting on the sacrifices and contributions of the martyrs to the nation's freedom movement. The two-minute silence served as a poignant moment of remembrance and gratitude, allowing students to connect with the spirit of sacrifice that has shaped India's history. It is a solemn reminder of the debt of honor we owe to those who paved the way for our liberty and democracy.
