Department of Commerce, University of Jammu Conducted Board of Studies Meeting to Finalize the Syllabi

The Department of Commerce at the University of Jammu recently convened a meeting of the Board of Studies (BOS) in the Office Chamber of Head of Department of Commerce on January 30, 2024. The meeting was held to approve the syllabi of B.Com. Honours 7^th and 8^th semester (NEP) and B.Com Honours with research 8^th semester under NEP. The meeting was attended by the Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Convener BOS and, Head of Department and other faculty members of the department. Faculty from GCW Udhampur, GDC Kathua, GDC Women Bhagwati Nagar, GDC Kunjwani, GDC Doda, GDC Marh, Dogra Degree College and Trikuta Degree College also participated in the meeting. This significant initiative aims to enhance the academic rigor and relevance of the curriculum, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and contemporary education in commerce and related disciplines. Drawing upon their rich academic and professional expertise, participants engaged in constructive discussions aimed at incorporating the latest developments, industry trends, and emerging areas of commerce into the curriculum. The meeting terminated with vote of thanks to the chair.
