Department of Buddhist Studies in Collaboration with Ladakh Phandey Tsogspa Organised a Guest Lecture on the topic of “Spirituality in Life” in which His eminence 8th Palga Rinpoche Ji was the Chief Guest and Speaker of the Lecture. With the Proceeding of the Lecture Prof. Shoab Malik, Head of the Department, Buddhist Department welcomed the guests. Shri Parmit ji mentioned the aims and objectives of Ladakh Phandey Tsogspa. Dr. Chhering Tandup Se. Assistant Professor and Convenor Ladakh Phandey Tsogspa gave a brief introduction of His Eminence Palga Rinpoche.
His eminence Palga Rinpoche Ji, in his Lecture, focused more on practices of modernity and spiritualism and he said in this modern world we need to focus on the calmness of our mind and body through the practices of meditation. Today's youths are confused and more sensitive towards their life. They easily fall for drugs and vulnerable towards destructive steps.
Prof. Virender Kundal, Guest of Honour and Director, Department of DSR, spoke of the need for practices of spiritualism and simultaneously work hard Like Swami Vivekananda and many more saints for the achievements of the ultimate goals of Vishaw Guru. The session was followed by a question-answer session and His Eminence replied to all the genuine questions. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr Chhering Tandup as a Convenor of Ladakh Phandey Tsogspa. Dr Thinley managed the stage. Other dignitaries present over there were Prof A.S Jasrotia, Prof S.K Pandita, Dr Vivek Sharma, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Dr Rohit Sharma, Dr Ekta Kumari, Dr Ajay Taloor, Dr Vijay Sehgal, Dr Yudveer Singh, Dr P.P Sing and others.
