Kathua Campus (JU) organizes Expert Lecture on " Empowering Viksit Bharat @2047: Unveiling the Significance of Artificial Intelligence”

Kathua Campus, University of Jammu organized an Expert Lecture on Empowering Viksit Bharat @2047: Unveiling the Significance of Artificial Intelligence. The resource person was Er. Munish Kohli, Senior Manager at Tower Vision India Ltd.  He has been working in the ICT industry for 17 years and has been awarded with many prestigious national awards. In the lecture, he presented invaluable insights into the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the advancement of a thriving India.

Er. Kohli illustrated the multifaceted significance of AI in advancing various sectors crucial to the nation's development. He discussed myriad ways in which AI serves as a catalyst for progress across various sectors crucial to the evolution of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India). He also added that AI driven research and development, along with fostering the culture of innovation, can position India as a leader in technological advancements in future. He also said that AI has the potential to transform Viksit Bharat by driving economic growth, fostering innovation, addressing societal challenges, and improving the standard of living for its citizens. 

Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu in his message emphasized the importance of embracing cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence. He highlighted that these initiatives contribute significantly to the knowledge enrichment of students and professionals. Prof. Jasrotia stressed the critical importance of understanding and harnessing the power of AI as it serves as a catalyst for visionary thinking and forward-looking strategies in empowering Viksit Bharat. He commended that such initiatives are a testament to Kathua Campus's unwavering dedication in fostering a culture of progressive thinking, innovation, intellectual exploration and nurturing an environment conducive to embracing transformative technologies pivotal to India's journey towards development and progress.

Dr. Sourabh Shastri, Incharge Head, MCA, Kathua Campus (JU) welcomed the resource person. He stressed that such lectures marked a crucial juncture in the pursuit of fostering innovation and progress in the evolving landscape of India's development. He further said that Kathua Campus remains steadfast in its commitment for nurturing a culture of innovation and knowledge dissemination, serving as a beacon for embracing ground breaking technologies pivotal to the nation's progress.
