A 3-day workshop on computer skills concluded at GDC Ramban.

A 3-day workshop on computer skills, which was organised by Employment Information and Advisory Bureau (EIAB), Department of Lifelong Learning (DLL), University of Jammu at Govt. Degree College, Ramban, concluded here today.

The workshop was organised under the guidance of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Director, DLL, and was coordinated by Dr. Rewa Khajuria, counsellor, EIAB, DLL. Mr. Surjeet Kumar was the resource person for the workshop. The themes that were covered during these 3 days were introduction to MS Word,creating, editing, and formatting a document, a PowerPoint presentation, an introduction to the network, and internet, introduction to MS Excel, worksheet creation, formulas, graphs, charts, etc.

The valedictory function was attended by Prof. Archana Kaul, principal of the college, along with senior faculty members. In her address, Dr. Archana Kaul highlighted the importance of learning computers. skills in this digital era. She also expressed her gratitude towards the organisers for teaching these important skills for the students.

About 30 students, while giving feedback, really appreciated the workshop.
