Employment Information Cum Advisory Bureau (EIAB), Department of Lifelong Learning (DLL) in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjuwan today organised a career counselling programme for the students of class 12th in its premises.
The programme was held under the guidance of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Director, DLL. Dr. Harleen Kour, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, JU was the resource person. Dr. Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL organised the programme. Dr. Harleen Kour informed the students about the career prospects and further study options after completing schooling in Science and Commerce streams. Dr. Rewa Khajuria apprised the students about importance of career counselling. She also explained the usefulness of psychometric tests.
The programme provided knowledge about the career prospects in these streams. About 44 students of the school while giving feedback appreciated the programme. They were very much interested in knowing the options available for them as board exams are approaching and they are in dire need of such programmes. The teachers of the school namely Mrs. Manju Sharma and Mrs. Sonika were also present in the programme.
