Dhanvantri Library, University of Jammu, organised an awareness program titled "Fostering Human Progress Through Open Research: The Future of Open Access Publishing"

Today, at the Dhanvantri Library, University of Jammu, an awareness program titled "Fostering Human Progress Through Open Research: The Future of Open Access Publishing" was organized in collaboration with Taylor and Francis Group. This event, held under the esteemed guidance of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof Umesh Rai Ji, aimed to promote awareness about open access publishing.

Dr. Vikram Sahi, the I/C Librarian, welcomed the participants and assured them that such awareness sessions would become a regular feature of the library to educate people about open access publishing.

During the event, Ms. Diksha Awasti delivered an informative presentation on open access publishing, focusing on its significance in advancing human progress.

The session witnessed participation from more than 70 library professionals, making it a well-attended and insightful webinar.
