The Office of the Programme Coordinator NSS in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan, Jammu University Chapter organised winter Clothes donation drive at Akhnoor(Mathwar-village), in one of the adopted villages of Jammu University. Around more than 200 villagers participated in the camp belonging to all the age groups. Initially, these clothes were collected by the Office of the Programme Coordinator NSS University of Jammu from 3rd to 5th Jan, 2023. Later the segregation and packing of clothes were done by the NSS volunteers of University of Jammu.

The entire activity was conducted under the supervision of Professor Jasbir Singh, Convenor, Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan, and Dr. Hema Gandotra, Programme Coordinator, NSS University of Jammu. Dr. N. Suresh Rao, the core committee member of UBA managed and looked after the entire event. Prof Neeru Sharma and Prof Samridhi Arora motivated the NSS volunteers at the University of Jammu to undertake such activity. On this occasion UBA faculty members, scientists, Volunteers and Research scholars accompanied the drive. The drive was supported by the presence of Dr Monika Bhardwaj, NSS Programme Officer, Dr Amit Sharma, Dr Bhasir, Dr Surinder, the scientist in the UBA team. Mr Anil Sharma, Ms NehaUttam, Ms Manu Saini and the NSS students Volunteers were present on occasion.
