Employment Information Cum Advisory Bureau (EIAB), Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu in collaboration with Govt. Degree College, R.S.Pura organised one day career awareness programme. The theme of the programme was “Career Opportunities in Sciences and Languages”

The programme was held under the overall supervision of Dr. Kavita Suri, Director, DLL, University of Jammu. Dr. Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL coordinated the whole programme. The special resource persons were Dr. Sadaf Shah, Assistant Professor, Department of English, University of Jammu and Dr. Sarabjeet Kaur, Assistant professor, Department of Zoology, University of Jammu. About 72students of the colleges attended the programme.

Dr. Balwinder Kaur, Convenor, Career Counselling Cell, GDC, R. S. Pura welcomed the guests. Dr. G.S.Rakwal, Principal of the college in his address emphasized on the importance of such type of programmes for the students through digital mode in this crucial situation.

Dr. Sadaf Shah informed the students about Career options in English. Dr. Sarabjeet  Kaur informed the students about Career options in Sciences after Graduation and Post Graduation
