Programme Outcomes

1 The most important upshot of the Buddhist Studies Programme is acquiring Buddhist philosophy and meta-physics – both epistemology and Ontology in a full-fledged manner. Students can be engaged in comparative philosophical studies from the standpoint of theistic and atheistic philosophical systems.

2. The immediate fruit of being a master's degree awarded student is to acquire an eligibility criterion for the post of Assistant Professor at the University/College/Higher Secondary level and pursue research in Buddhism as a career.

3. They can be engaged in manuscriptlogy and editing work. Engagement in the Buddhist Tourism industry is the need of the hour, and it is flourishing by leaps and bounds. Engagement in Buddhist Museums all over the globe as a Curator, Critic, Expositor, and so forth. Acquisition of eligibility to pursue higher education (research) in India and abroad in the domain of Buddhist philosophy, which is very vast and varied. To inculcate values and develop a sense of pride in our national culture.
