JU Reasi Campus Organized Free Medical Health Check-up Camp
Reasi Campus, University of Jammu, for the first time successfully organized a Free Medical Health Check-up Camp on 29.10.2025 in the campus, conducted by the experienced medical professionals of Government Hospital, Reasi, on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer, Reasi. The primary objective of this camp was to provide students and employees with convenient and complimentary access to basic medical screening and professional health consultation.
Prof. Sushil K. Pandey, Director, Reasi Campus, appreciated the support extended by the Chief Medical Officer, District Reasi, for sending a team of expert doctors and technical staff to Reasi Campus at village Jadh.
Dr. Rajni Langhay, Medical Officer, and Dr. Monika Kotwal (MLHP) conducted comprehensive health check-ups, including vital sign monitoring, physical examinations, and health counselling for all students of Semesters I and III, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. Dr. Rajni Langhay also advised students to maintain personal hygiene, consume a balanced and healthy diet, and practice yoga on a daily basis.
Mr. M.P. Singh (Pharmacist) and Mrs. Anjana Kumari (FMPHW) accompanied the medical team and provided medicines to the students and employees as prescribed by the doctors.
Dr. Monika Kotwal also conducted haemoglobin (Hb) tests for each student and provided necessary advice along with prescribed medication. The medical team further assured that they would visit the campus from time to time for future diagnosis and medical check-ups.
The programme was managed by Dr. Nisha Sharma, Dr. Pankaj, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Ms. Nedhi Thakur, Babloo Salaria, and Sandeep Sharma.
