Jammu, May 27: The second day of the Inter-Departmental Tournament 2025–26 for Men, hosted by the University of Jammu, witnessed energetic participation and remarkable sportsmanship as students continued to compete with enthusiasm and dedication at the Cricket Ground and Volleyball Ground of the university.
The tournament, held under the esteemed patronage of the Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, is progressing successfully, drawing immense interest from various departments and fostering a spirit of camaraderie, fitness and healthy competition.
The event is organized under the dynamic leadership and overall supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, and is efficiently coordinated by Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, Incharge PTI, Campus Sports Committee, University of Jammu.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, while addressing the participants, emphasized the significance of such events in enhancing physical health, mental well-being, stress management, and student productivity. He further added that inter-departmental competitions enrich the campus culture and contribute to the holistic development of students.

1st Semifinal:
 
Physical Education Department defeated Law Department by 2–0 sets with set score: 25–17, 25–13
 
2nd Semifinal:
SHTM Department defeated Geography Department by 2–1 sets with set score: 25–23, 17–25, 15–12
 
 
Final Match:
Physical Education Department defeated SHTM Department by 2–0 sets with set score: 25–18, 25–17
 
Match Results Cricket (Men):
History Department beats Urdu Department by 8 runs.
Sociology Department beats ICCCR &HRM by 06 wickets.
