The Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu Prof Umesh Rai today released the maiden issue of University of Jammu Journal GYANANJALI, a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal aimed at fostering academic excellence.
GYANANJALI is the first journal in the country giving languages scholars one platform for sharing their research and creativity, along with opening up new avenues for interdisciplinary research in the Faculty of Arts.
Speaking on the occasion , Prof. Umesh Rai commended the dedication and hard work of Prof. Anupama Vohra, Convener, and the members of the Editorial Board. Their collaborative efforts have culminated in the creation of a vital platform for academic exchange and enrichment.
The launch of GYANANJALI showcases the University of Jammu's commitment to academic excellence and innovation, aligning closely with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy 2020.
Those present during the release of GYANANJALI include Prof. Sucheta Pathania, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Anupama Vohra, and members of the Editorial Board, including Prof. Shoaib Inayat Malik, Prof. Sushma Devi, Prof. Muhammad Riyaz, Prof. Anju Sharma, Prof. Rajni Bala, Dr. Satyapriya Arya, Dr. Harjinder Singh, Dr. Pritam Singh, and Dr. Padam Dev Singh.
