Dept. of Education, JU organised Library Week

P.G. Department of education, University of Jammu observed Library week from 14-20th of November, 2023. The Faculty members, scholars and students of the department take part in celebration with zeal and Enthusiasm. The main focus of the library week celebration was to abreast the main stakeholders of education with the trends, prospects, basic practices adopted in library as well as effective usage of library books in supplementing the learning content. The main focus of the awareness was regarding Library access, Entry criteria for Library, eye card issuance and number of books allotted. The main purpose of the library week was to promote reading culture that is lacking due to technology as well as appraising the stakeholders with entry and exit culture of the Library.
