Successful Completion of Two-Day Advanced Research Methods Workshop, JU

P.G. Department of Commerce is delighted to announce P.G. Department of Commerce is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of a highly informative and engaging Two-Day Advanced Research Methods Workshop, held on November 3rd and 4th, 2023. Dr. Neeraj Kaushik, Associate Professor, NIT Kurukshetra was the resource person for the workshop. This event served as a beacon for researchers, scholars, and faculty members seeking to delve into the latest advancements in research methodologies.

The workshop's comprehensive agenda covered a wide array of topics, ensuring participants gained a holistic understanding of cutting-edge research techniques. The first day of the workshop commenced with an in-depth exploration of PLS-SEM, encompassing model specification, model estimation, and the intricacies of types of higher-order constructs. The day also delved into specifying, estimating, and validating higher-order constructs, while also addressing nonlinear relationships and confirmatory tetrad analysis.

The second day of the workshop was equally engaging, with participants delving into advanced methodologies such as necessary conditions analysis and importance-performance map analysis. During the others sessions of the day emphasis was laid on testing for measurement model invariance, parametric multigroup analysis, and the vital concept of bootstrap. The workshop culminated with insightful discussions on finite mixture partial least squares and prediction-oriented segmentation for partial least squares. The diversity of topics covered in the agenda provided attendees with a comprehensive toolkit of advanced research methodologies, ensuring they leave equipped to tackle complex research challenges. Participants expressed their appreciation for the practical applications and hands-on exercises that allowed them to solidify their understanding of these advanced research methods.

The overwhelming response to this workshop underscores the commitment of P.G. Department of Commerce, University of Jammu in advancing the capabilities of researchers and academicians in the pursuit of excellence in their respective fields. the successful conclusion of a highly informative and engaging Two-Day Advanced Research Methods Workshop, held on November 3rd and 4th, 2023.
