University of Jammu's Literary Club Hosts Enchanting 'Andaaz-e-Bayaan: A Mushaira'"

The Literary Club, under the umbrella of Utsaah, the Clubs, University of Jammu, presented a spellbinding mushaira event, "Andaaz-e-Bayaan," on the 12th of October, 2023. The event turned the Main Campus of the University into a hub of literary and poetic enthusiasm, as students, scholars, faculty, and staff congregated at the mini arena in the heart of the campus. This two-hour student-driven extravaganza aimed to celebrate and promote the abundant raw talent within the University.

The event featured an array of exceptionally talented participants from various departments of the University of Jammu, including Nighat Mir, Rajveer Singh, Sakshi, Mehak Dogra, Zahid Mughal, Jasleen, Sabli Narania, Imtiaz Ahmed, Mr. Madan, Sakshi Billawaria, Komal Jargal, Rehman Ali, Israr Ahmed, Faayaz Tahir Ali, and Mujeeb Ul Rehman. Their scintillating performances left the audience in awe.

Prof. Satnam Kour, Chairperson of Utsaah, the Clubs, University of Jammu, commended the commendable efforts of Dr. Sadaf Shah, Coordinator of The Literary Club, whose visionary leadership has been propelling the club's endeavors.

The evening culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Savleen Kour. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished personalities, including Prof. Suman Jamwal, Prof. Parmil Kumar, Prof. Neeraj Sharma, Prof. Jyoti Waklu, Dr. Shashi Prabha, Dr. Pritam Singh, , Dr. Shallu Sehgal, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Dr. Chinmoyee Maharane, Dr. Ashwin Kumar and Mr. Sumeet Sharma. The emcees for the evening, Mahir Hussain and Srishti Sharma from the Department of English, University of Jammu, ensured the smooth flow of the program.
