International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICccR & HRM) University of Jammu organized a lecture on ‘Export Opportunities and Challenges in J&K’ for the students of MBA (International Business) and Post Graduate Diploma in Composite Culture Management programmes. Mrs. Pooja Gupta, Founder Director, Nimbark Organics and Rohit Gupta, MD, Sarweshwar Group were the resource persons for the session.

721The lecture was conducted with the objective of familiarizing the students with the global export scenario of the Sarweshwar group and the various export opportunities and challenges in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir as experienced by them. The session also aimed at developing an entrepreneurial and export orientation amongst the students. The resource persons provided an extensive outline of the necessary conditions that need to be fulfilled to avail potential export opportunities.

Professor Hardeep Chahal, Director, ICccR & HRM, JU, in her welcome address, expressed the importance of grooming the students with the appropriate knowledge, and skills required for the export ventures. She emphasized that in present era, the opportunities in international businesses are endless and this session would facilitate them to expand their understanding of the opportunities and challenges involved in exporting.

Dr. Neha Gupta,  Lecturer, ICccR & HRM, JU coordinated the session as well as the internship and placement drive conducted by the Sarveshwar group.
