Department of Zoology University of Jammu in an attempt to inculcate entrepreneurship skills among students organizes one day workshop on “Solid Waste management: An ecofriendly preposition” on 25^th of April 2023. Prof. S S Hundal, former Head, Department of Zoology, PAU Ludhiana was the resource person for the workshop. Prof. Hundal is an eminent scientist and expert in the filed of vermicompost. He elaborated and disseminated the practice and procedure of vermicompost set up as a prominent means of solid waste management and as a potential entrepreneurial venture. He also motivated the students to realize the economic benefits of vermicompost set up. The workshop was attended by the students and research scholar of the zoology department.
