Employment Information Cum Advisory Bureau (EIAB), Department of Lifelong Learning (DLL) in collaboration with Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Satwari today organized a career counselling programme on “Career opportunities in Sciences and Commerce  after 10+2 ” for the students of the school in its premises.

The programme was held under the supervision of Dr. Kavita Suri, Director, DLL. Dr. Surjit Singh Principal of the school formally welcome the guests and applauded the efforts of the career counselling cell of Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu and advised the students to take the advantage of such type of programmes.

The special resource persons were Dr. Sarabjeet Kour, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, JU, Dr. Harleen Kour, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, JU and Dr. Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL. Dr. Sarabjeet Kour made the students aware about the various career options available for them in both medical and non-medical fields after 12th. Ms. Neetu Dhar in her presentation apprised the students about career options in English and the importance of communication skills. About 62 students of the school attended the programme.
