Department of Zoology, university of Jammu and Institute of Human Genetics jointly organized an awareness lecture on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to commemorate the National CPR Day on 21st July 2022 at 3.00 pm in the seminar hall of the Zoology Department.  Dr Sanjeev Kumar Digra Professor Pediatrics, Dept of Pediatric, GMC Jammu was the resource person. In his lecture Dr. Digra explained the importance of CPR in saving lives of people who suffer cardiac arrest. He explained the basic technique of performing CPR in adults, children and in infants. He also demonstrated the technique of CPR using infant mannequin. All faculty members of the Department of Zoology and Human Genetics, non teaching staff, research scholar, and students of both the department attended the lecture. Dr sarbjeet Kour interfaced the speaker and proceeding of function.
