Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu organised a webinar in collaboration with the University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Foundation and University Business Incubation and Innovation under the Udhampur Campus Capacity Building Series (UCCBS) on the topic “How To Plan To Initiate Your Dream Startup” on 11th July, 2022 under patronship of Professor Umesh Rai, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor University of Jammu and under convenorship of Professor Parikshat Singh Manhas Rector, Udhampur Campus.

The webinar's resource was Dr. Akshita Bahuguna (Founder and Director, Futureicons Group). She started the webinar with the fundamental abilities needed to launch an enterprise. She claimed that in order to fulfil our dreams, we need certain skills. Dr. Bahuguna gave an explanation of how an entrepreneur might go on the journey of a start-up and guide it effectively by conquering obstacles. She had also described the fundamental conditions needed to launch companies and their relevance. The resource person also clarifies to the participant what kind of risks an entrepreneur can face along the way and what abilities they should have to deal with these difficulties. Dr. Akshita concluded the seminar by providing a thorough overview of the secrets behind the success of a start-up with ten step model focusing on how to prepare for start-ups.

Dr. Bahuguna concentrated on and clarified the hidden battle using a business model and analogies from real life. Participants were registered from various colleges and universities from the different state of India.
