Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu and University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Foundation (UOJSPVF) in collaboration with Bhavya Bharat Foundation host New India Youth Dialogue” Jammu and Kashmir on theme Ideation, Innovation and Incubation at premises of the University of Jammu to mark the celebration of Innovative youth-led solutions for the achievement of the SDGs and recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Prof.Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the Occasion. Shri Danesh Rana, IPS (ADGP, Coordination Jammu and Kashmir), Ms Nupur Sharma, National Spokesperson, Bhartiya Janta Party and Mr. Vipul Patel, Indian Business Leader, USA, were guests of Honour and graced the occasion with their presence. Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas, Rector Udhampur Campus and CEO & Promoter Director of UOJSPVF was the convenor of this event.Mr. Rangam Trivedi Founder, Bhavya Bharat Foundation was also the coordinator of the event.

Prof.Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, in his address said that “Innovation starts with the love to real-life problems. The best is to convert your passion into working solution”. He says that this programme will continue to provide opportunities to the many talented entrepreneurial youths of Jammu and Kashmir as this was the first-ever Youth Dialogue of Jammu and Kashmir on the theme Ideation, Innovation and Incubation. He said that all talented students are now being provided with a platform at the State Level. Prof Dhar in his address congratulated the management for providing such a platform where vibrant talent is being displayed. He orated that such events will spark the minds and hearts of young learners so that they can be leaders of tomorrow

The event was carried forward with the motivating words of Prof. Parikshat Singh, Rector Udhampur campus, and CEO & Director, University of Jammu and University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Foundation (UOJSPVF).He congratulated all the participants and motivated them by saying that their participation itself in the mega event was a big achievement. He stressed that there is need of innovation, Ideation and incubation in today’s time. He said that instead of job seekers, the young blood should prefer to be a job creator. He said that the main focus behind organizing this initiative of New India Youth Dialogue Jammu and Kashmir” is to build a strong Innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem on the campus of the University of Jammu. He said only Innovation, Ideation strategy and mindset will connect the entire world in the future. He advised the participants to cultivate multidisciplinary skills. He said that skill development and innovative mindset is the need of the hour as devasting Pandemic shows us the reality of Our Job culture. He said that society should change the mindset of acquiring the job but focus on building the Job. According to Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas, the aim behind organizing such an event is to develop leadership qualities, exchange of ideas, thoughts, culture and tradition and above all building self-confidence among students. This unique event encouraged many young minds to convert their knowledge into skills that would solve many crucial challenges facing our country.

Ms. Nupur Sharma also motivated the participants and explained that the event also aimed that address the fact that despite the growth of digital technology and innovation many young innovators from the vulnerable and marginalized community are still left behind. She said that innovation begins with Ideation. She elaborated that Govt of India has built up many policies to bring Innovation in education that encourages teachers and students to explore, research and use all the tools to uncover something new. It involves a different way of looking at problems and solving them. The thinking process that goes into it will help students develop their creativity and problem-solving skills. She said that the sole objective of this event is to provide a platform for those children who are otherwise unenabled to explore the opportunity to showcase their talent to the world.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Danesh Rana, IPS (ADGP, Coordination Jammu and Kashmir) said that the event presented opportunities for multitasking holder dialogue and collaboration for the use of Innovation and technology to achieve Innovative Sustainable Development Goals and support the covid-19 recovery agenda. He said that Innovation requires a friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to have interaction and exchange of ideas. He said such events give an opportunity for brainstorming and breakdown of information also takes place. Therefore, Innovation and Ideations is simply introducing something that is new aimed at improving people’s lives.The vision of New India, Smart India, Innovative India, Skilled India, Jammu and Kashmir seemed closer to realization after the closure of the event-New India Youth Dialogue” Jammu and Kashmir on theme Ideation, Innovation and Incubation 2022.

Earlier Mr. Rangam Trivedi Founder, Bhavya Bharat Foundation give the welcome address. While addressing the audience he said that this event is a huge opportunity to use our creative imagination. The Youth Dialogue is a strategic and timely approach to drive our world to a solution-oriented future through youth-led innovation as it brings together young innovators and solution makers together with policymakers and industry leaders. He also explained the aims and objectives of the event.
