The Department of Law at Jammu University celebrated Constitution Day today with an insightful session led by guest speaker, Justice Subhash Gupta (Retd.), former District and Sessions Judge. The event was held in the presence of distinguished faculty members and students, marking a significant occasion in the academic calendar.

Justice Subhash Gupta delivered an engaging lecture on the importance of the Constitution of India, highlighting its evolution from the pre-independence era to modern times. He discussed the profound impact of the Constitution in shaping India's democratic framework and governance. The event was attended by Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Prof. Seema Nargotra, Dr. Mohd Arif, Prof. Sanjay Gupta and Dr. Kartika Bakshi of the Department of Law along with students.

The lecture was followed by a dynamic interactive session where students had the opportunity to engage with Justice Gupta, asking questions and discussing key constitutional issues.
