Kathua Campus, University of Jammu commemorated Samvidhan Divas (Constitution Day) with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event aimed to honor the values and principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution and pay tribute to the visionary framers who have shaped its legacy.  

The event began with a solemn Constitution Pledge ceremony. The students 335492and faculty members reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that form the foundation of the nation. The pledge symbolized the collective determination of the academic community to contribute to the nation’s progress while adhering to constitutional values.

Furthermore, Tarandeep Kour, student of MBA, Meenakshi, student of B.A. English, Kirti and Deepanshu students of MCA Department shared inspirational speeches and their insights on the historical significance of the Constitution and its relevance in contemporary times.

Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu in his message highlighted the importance of the Constitution as a living document that binds the diverse fabric of the nation. He emphasized on the responsibility of every citizen to protect and promote the democratic principles that make India a vibrant democracy.

The program was anchored by Dr. Surekha Pakhwara and the Constitution Pledge was read by Dr. Ritu Sharma. Dr. Sourabh Shastri, Mr. Amit Sharma, Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Dr. Sunny Sharma, Dr. Bharti Rana, Dr. Nomita Sharma, Dr. Meenakshi Thakur and Dr. Nisha Choudhary were also present during the event.
