Institute of Music & Fine Arts (IMFA), University of Jammu today organized an interactive meet with the veteran painter of the country from Jammu & Kashmir, Bhushen Koul- National Awardee painter of the country accompanied by Padmashree, Sculptor of the J&K UT, Rajinder Ticku, noted Art Historian & Art critic Dr. Lalit Gupta beside Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, Principal IMFA.
At the outset, Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik in his welcome address threw light upon the artistic pilgrimage of Bhushen Koul as a painter especially underlined his contributions to get affiliated with both the IMFA Jammu & IMFA Kashmir with the respective Universities.
Bhushen Koul presented before staff & students of IMFA, the slide show of his recent drawings & paintings rendered in the off-beat genre & which was awe-inspiring for a new generation to explore new vistas of medium & presentation. He inculcated into the students his erudite knowledge of visual art & unravelled the queries of aspiring artists.
It would not be out of place to mention here that both staff & students of IMFA Jammu are being provided with a visual feast with nuance.
Among other Dr. Milan Sharma, S.Sukhjeet Singh, Rohit Verma, Ankush Kesar and others were also present on the occasion.
