Jammu, Sept 16: The ongoing Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament 2025–26, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, entered its second day with exciting performances and an impressive display of skill, strength, and strategic game play.
This annual tournament aims to promote a vibrant sports culture and encourage greater youth participation in competitive sports. Day two witnessed a series of nail-biting encounters where participating teams demonstrated remarkable agility, coordination, and tactical brilliance. The players not only showcased outstanding physical endurance but also a deep understanding of the nuances of the game, making every contest a thrilling spectacle. The enthusiastic cheers from the crowd further enhanced the atmosphere, creating an environment of excitement and healthy rivalry.

GDC Doda beat GDC Hiranagar by 22 points.
GDC Marheen beat GDC Ramgarh by 02 points.
GDC Chenani beat MBS College by 16 points.
GCET Jammu beat UIET Kathua by 16 points.
GDC Kunjwani beat GDC Sunderbani by 15 points.
GDC Poonch beat GDC Gaghwal by 10 points.
GDC Khour beat BDC Udhampur by 25 points.
MIET College beat GDC Samba by 06 points.
The tournament is being conducted under the overall supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu and his dedicated team have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the event, with strong emphasis on discipline, fair play, and organizational excellence.
The technical panel for officiating the matches comprised Sh. Anil Sharma, Sh. Ajay Gupta, Sh. Dheeraj Sharma, Sh. Keshav Singh, S. Amandeep Singh, and Sh. Gagan Kumar, whose professional expertise ensured that all matches were conducted fairly and in strict adherence to the rules of the game.
