Jammu, May 28: The third day of the Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament 2025–26 for Men, organized by the University of Jammu, unfolded with high energy, enthusiastic participation and outstanding sportsmanship. The matches were held at the University Cricket Ground, where students from various departments competed with great zeal and commitment. This annual sporting event is being conducted under the esteemed patronage of the Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, University of Jammu and is receiving an overwhelming response from across departments. It continues to promote camaraderie, physical fitness and a spirit of healthy competition among students.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, and is being efficiently coordinated by Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, Incharge PTI, Campus Sports Committee, University of Jammu.

Department of Distance & Online Education (D.D. & O.E.) defeated Geology Department by 108 runs
D.D. & O.E.: 180/5 in 15 overs
Top Performers: Vikshay – 53 runs & 2 wickets, Dinesh – 42 runs
Geology Department: 72/6 in 15 overs
Top Performer: Ujjwal – 27 runs
 
Economics Department edged out the Political Science Department by 3 runs in a close match
Economics: 138/4 in 15 overs
Political Science: 135/6 in 15 overs
 
School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) triumphed over the Zoology Department with a 79-run victory
SHTM: 145/5 in 15 overs
Top Performers: Anirudh – 48 runs, Ishtaiq – 51 runs
Zoology: 66 all out
