University of Jammu Inter-Departmental Tournament 2025-26 for Men

The University of Jammu commenced its much-anticipated Inter-Departmental Tournament 2025–26 for Men with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, held at the Cricket Ground and Volleyball Ground University of Jammu. The tournament is being conducted under the esteemed patronage of the Chairman, Campus Sports Committee and aims to foster unity among departments, promote physical fitness, and encourage healthy competition among students.

The event is being conducted under the dynamic leadership and overall supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Chairman, Campus Sports Committee, and efficiently coordinated by Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, Incharge PTI Campus Sports Committee University of Jammu.

Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba emphasized the importance of such events in promoting not only physical health and mental well-being but also playing a crucial role in stress management and enhancing student productivity. He highlighted that inter-departmental competitions contribute significantly to enriching the campus culture and ensuring the all-round development of students.

Match Results Volleyball (Men):

  • Physical Education Department defeated Design Your Degree Department by 2-0 sets (Set Scores: 25-11, 25-10).
  • SHTM Department defeated Commerce Department by 2-0 sets (Set Scores: 25-16, 25-13).
  • Physical Education Department again triumphed over Design Your Degree Department with a 2-0 sets win (Set Scores: 25-11, 25-19).

  • Law School defeated Geography Department by 65 runs.
