The speaker elaborated on the expansive scope of IPR, encompassing various domains such as patents, trademarks, GI tags, and copyrights. In his comprehensive discourse, Dr. Burhan illuminated the intricacies of copyrights, comprising two essential components: moral rights and commercial rights. He highlighted that while commercial rights are transferable, moral rights are not. To elucidate the patent filing process, Dr. Burhan employed a relatable example, demonstrating the stages and requisite claims involved in filing a patent. He further expounded on effective strategies for patent searching, offering insights into the platforms best suited for this purpose.
