It is pertinent to mention here that SANGAM-2022 attracted over 1200 participants from 34 colleges from different parts of Jammu province. The Closing Ceremony ended with prize distribution to all the students, including winners and runners-up teams, beside all participating players by the chief guest Professor Umesh Rai along with other dignitaries. The overall runners-up trophy was bagged by Govt Degree College Doda while Jammu University lifted the coveted trophy “Sangam-2022.”During the valedictory function students showcased their skills in dancing and singing.
Earlier, Col Rajat Parmar, Commanding Officer, 4 Rashtryia Rifles read the detailed report of the events held during the five day long youth festival. Dr Jatinder Manhas, Dr Neeraj Sharma and Dr Ambish Malik conducted the proceedings of the valedictory function.
Prof. Rahul Gupta, Rector Bhaderwah Campus, Prof Neelu Rometra, Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Prof Arvind Jasrotia, Registrar, Prof Rajeev Rattan, Director, College Development Council, Prof Prakash Antahal,Dean Students Welfare, Prof Vishav Raksha, Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee, Prof Vinay Chauhan, Dean, Students Placement, Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Sports and Physical Education, SP Bhaderwah Mir Aftab , SDPO Bhaderwah Mir Gafoor , Dr Neeraj Sharma, Dr Imran Farooq , Dr Sumita Sharma Mr Sheikh Mujeeb and other accompanying officers from the University of Jammu, officers of Indian army and paramilitary forces, officers from civil administration, Principals of different degree Colleges, , members of the civil society, accompanying teachers, participating students, teaching and non-teaching staff from Bhaderwah Campus were present on the occasion .
