Prof Umesh Rai, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu flags off Jammu University Cricket team for participating in the forthcoming 18th Vice Chancellor Cup 2022 going to be held at Choudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University Hisar, Haryana. Vice-Chancellor wished them success for the ensuing tournament. Director Sports and Physical Education,  Dr Daud Iqbal Baba appraised the Vice Chancellor about the format in which a number of teams are going to participate from various states. The University team is led by Sh Raj Kumar Bakshi as captain who is an ex-J&K Ranji player. The team is also accompanied by Sh Mukesh Kumar and Dr Noor ul Asrar Beg in the Management Committee who were also present in the flagging off ceremony. The team comprise of Raj Kumar Bakshi – Captain, Vishal Sudan, Abhinav Sharma, Balwant Singh, Aman Singh, Shami Kumar, Niranjan Charak, Rajesh Salhotra, Suheel Fazal,  Mohd Amin, Md Alyas, Shantul Raina, Avtar Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Mohit Sharma and Abdul Gafoor. Among others  Prof Prakash Antahal, Dean Students Welfare, Dr Rakesh Chib, President, JUNTEU, Sh Pankaj Gupta, General Secretary, JUNTEU and other members of Union were also present on the occasion
