ICccR & HRM, JU conducted an “Awareness session regarding Self Employment Schemes of Government and National Career Service Portal” for the students of MBA (IB)

 In a significant step toward empowering students and young professionals, the department of International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management organized an enlightening lecture on “Awareness session regarding Self Employment Schemes of Govt. and National Career Service Portal” by the DECC Jammu team. During the session, students were introduced to various career options available after completing their post graduation.

 

The lecture featured insights into Mission Yuva, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Tejaswini Scheme, and the Spurring Entrepreneurship Programme. The DECC team provided insights into different fields, including technology and business, emphasizing the importance of aligning personal interests and strengths with career choices.

Additionally, the session included interactive discussions, allowing students to ask questions and seek advice on pursuing soft skills and digital skills. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance career awareness among students and equip them with the necessary tools to navigate their future effectively.

The initiative was made possible under the visionary leadership of Prof. Hardeep Chahal, Director, ICccR & HRM, whose unwavering support and commitment to student development has been instrumental in organizing this impactful session. The session was coordinated by Dr. Parul Mahajan along with Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Dr. Neha Gupta, Dr. Shivani Rana and Dr. Swati Sharma.
