ABOUT UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST (JUET-2026)

ADMISSION TO THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU, MAIN CAMPUS/ OFFSITE CAMPUSES AND AFFILIATED COLLEGES FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2026-27 SHALL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF THE CUET-2026 SCORE & COMPOSITE SCORE CONSISTING OF ACADEMIC MERIT + JAMMU UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST (JUET-2026) SCORE.

There shall be two set of JUET Question Papers one for the applicants appearing after 10+2 for UG Programmes and other appearing after 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 for PG Two Years and One Year Programme for Admission to any Post Graduate/ Under Graduate / Integrated UG-PG Programme of the University of Jammu running in the Main Campus and Offsite Campuses.

1. Programmes Offered for admission for the Academic Session 2026-27 under JUET-PG: (a) Two Year Post Graduate Programmes: Buddhist Studies, Dogri, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, Kashmiri (Kishtwar Campus only), Journalism & Media Studies,  Performing Arts (MPA in Vocal/ Sitar/ Violin/ Tabla/ Kathak), Commerce (M.Com), MBA, MBA (TTM), MBA (IB), M.A Education, M.Ed, B.Ed, LL.B Professional (3 Years), LL.M, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Sericulture (Poonch Campus only), MCA (Computer Science & IT), M.Tech (Computer Sc.), M.Sc-IT (Kishtwar Campus only), Statistics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Home Science (Human Dev.), Applied Geology, Physics, Electronics, History, Economics, Rural Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and Defence & Strategic Studies, any other; (b) Two Year Integrated Master of Library & Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) Programme; (c) One Year Post Graduate Programmes: Dogri, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Commerce, Education, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Statistics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Home Science (Human Dev.), Applied Geology, Physics, Electronics, History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, M.Lib.I.Sc and any other; (d). Post Graduate Diploma Programmes:  PG Diploma in Human Rights & Duties Education, PG Diploma in Composite Culture Management, PG Diploma in Yoga, PG Diploma in Museology & Conservation and PG Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) (Kishtwar Campus only), and any other; 
2. Programmes Offered for admission for the Academic Session 2026-27 under JUET-UG: (a). Four Year Under Graduate Programmes:; B.Com. (Bhaderwah & Udhampur Campus); BBA (Hotel Management); BBA, BCA (Data Science) (Bhaderwah & Kathua Campus); B.A English (Kathua Campus only), and any other; (b). Four Year Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports (B.P.E.S); (c). Five Year Integrated UG-PG Programmes: Buddhist Studies, Dogri, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Commerce, Business Management, Education, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Home Science, Geology, Physics, Electronics, History, Economics, Library & Information Sciences, Rural Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and any other; (d). Five Years Integrated Master Degree Programme in Mathematical Sciences (Computer Sc., Mathematics & Statistics); (e). Five Year Integrated Programme in Law (B.A. LL.B Professional)
3. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY & ORDER OF PREFERENCES FOR ADMISSIONs: (a). MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO ALL PG PROGRAMMES (EXCEPT LL.B): The applicant must have passed the qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Program-Specific Eligibility. In case of SC/ST the minimum eligibility is 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade. For LL.B the candidate must have 45% of marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination for general category and 40% for SC/ST;  (b). MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO ALL UG PROGRAMMES (EXCEPT LAW): The applicant must have passed the qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination (10+2). In case of SC/ST the minimum eligibility is 45%. For LL.B (5 Years) the candidate must have 45% of marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination for general category and 40% for SC/ST.
