Viksit Bharat@2047 is the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to make India a developed Nation by 2047, the 100th year of its independence. The vision encompasses various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. For this to happen, there is a need to chalk out a bold, ambitious and transformative agenda, and its communication to all stakeholders. The role of the youth, who constitute our largest population group, has a huge role here as they will lead India to Viksit Bharat by 2047.

In his address, Sh. Balwant Thakur asserted the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 as a much needed giant leap towards regaining the glory of India as it was in ancient times. From the time immemorial, our great nation has been contributing towards the growth and development of the world, we have been the World leaders in several spheres but the impact of westernisation, to an extent, disconnected us from our roots and we started to develop a feeling of inferiority. But now during the Amrit Kaal, when the Nation is going to celebrate its 100 years of independence in 2047, we shall make India a developed Nation in all aspects which includes infrastructural growth of the country and Intellectual growth of its citizens which is possible through revisiting our glorious past and Art and Culture can play a vital role in it. Culture and Heritage are the reservoirs of our Indian ethos and timeless wisdom which has illuminated the world since the beginning of civilization.

Earlier, in her address, Prof. Monika Chadha while speaking about the idea behind Viksit Bharat @2047 campaign which has been envisaged by Hon’ble Prime Minister, informed that, Ít is important to realise that tremendous dedication and belief in India’s destiny, immense desire, potential, talent and capabilities of the Indians, especially the youth, coupled with steadfast leadership, is necessary to realise this potential. There is enormous work that needs to be undertaken in a mission mode to make India Viksit Bharat by 2047. She also urged the students to register at Mygov.in and share their ideas for Viksit Bharat @2047.
