International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management, ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu organized Two-Day Curriculum Revision Meet for restructuring and enriching the curriculum of MBA (International Business) Programme on the lines of NEP-2020. The MBA (IB) curriculum which is 136 credit course, was discussed at length, keeping in consideration the international perspective and contemporary industry practices.

The Curriculum Revision Meet was steered by Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research & Innovation, School of Business Management, University of South Pacific Fiji, with whom the department of ICccR & HRM has penned MOU in the year 2024. The agenda of the meet was to create curriculum that offers academic freedom, flexibility and choice to the students in terms of earning credits. The meet also enabled faculty members of the department to benchmark some of the best curriculum designs of international academic varsities and inculcate the best components in their respective course curriculum.

The meet rigorously delved deep into the frameworks of curriculum design and the taxonomical aspects, so that the skill, practical and research components shall be strengthened, thereby making the curriculum more employable and acceptable across geographies.

Prof. Hardeep Chahal, Director, ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu, convened the meet, with strong emphasis on reframing the curriculum with international orientation that offers the students of the region, an opportunity to learn and apply international managerial competencies and skills across different domains of business.
