Kathua Campus (JU) organizes an Expert Lecture on Leading Digital Transformation under Expert Lecture Series

Under the Expert Lecture Series, Department of Computer Science and IT, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu organized an Expert Lecture on the topic “Leading Digital Transformation” by Dr. Rajat Sharma, Associate Professor of Marketing at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has research and teaching experience of more than 10 years and has also worked on research projects with various ministries, including Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Railways.

Dr. Rajat Sharma shared invaluable insights and strategies to navigate the complexities of leading digital transitions in today's fast-evolving technological landscape. During his engaging discourse, He emphasized on the crucial role of visionary leadership in spearheading successful digital transformations within organizations. He elaborated on pertinent case studies, industry trends, and emerging technologies, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the digital sphere. He also stressed upon valuable strategies to navigate and excel in the digital era and throw light on the pivotal role of innovative leadership in navigating and thriving within the digital landscape.

Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu in his message expressed gratitude towards the resource person for his lecture as it provided a comprehensive overview of the strategies, challenges, and opportunities involved in steering organizations through successful digital transformations. Prof. Jasrotia said that the expert lecture on 'Leading Digital Transformation' was a remarkable opportunity for the students to delve into the intricacies of navigating the digital sphere. He further added that the session was aimed to explore the dynamic landscape of digital evolution and its imperative role in modern organizational leadership.
