University of Jammu Marks Two-Year Milestone of Vidyanjali Initiative

In a remarkable achievement, P.G. Department of Education, University of Jammu completed two years of Vidyanjali- a significant achievement in promoting educational excellence and holistic development in the region. Inspired by the guiding principles of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020,  Vidyanjali serves as an example of the department's steadfast commitment to these principles.

The department conducted a need assessment and feedback for initiating phase III in the 11 selected schools from Jammu, R.S. Pura, Samba, Hiranagar and Bhaderwah regions of Jammu province. The schools where the assessment was conducted include Govt. Middle School, Railway Colony, Jammu, Govt. High School, Channi Rama, Jammu, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Satwari, Jammu, Govt. High School, Chak Largan, Bajalta, Jammu, Govt. Girls High School, Rangpur Mulania, R.S. Pura, Jammu, Govt. Middle School, Mill Area, R.S. Pura, Jammu, Govt. Model Higher Secondary School Boys, Samba, Govt. Middle School, Bhaiya, Hiranagar, Kathua, New Primary School, Upper Sungli, Bhaderwah, Doda, Govt. UPS, Haliyan, Bhaderwah, Doda, Govt. High School, Dhrewari, Gandoh Bhalessa, Doda. 

A dedicated team of volunteers recorded the feedback of the school principal, Vidyanjali in-charge teacher, teachers and parents. Additionally, interviews with parents in local households provided invaluable firsthand data.
