Department of Commerce, University of Jammu organised Advanced Excel Course in collaboration with NIELT, University of Jammu for the students of M.Com commenced on 26th March, 2024. This comprehensive programme aims to equip students with advanced skills in excel empowering them with indispensible tools for their academic and professionals pursuits. Excel proficiency has become increasingly essential in today’s dynamic business landscape and Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, HOD Commerce recognised the importance of providing students with specialised training to excel in their academic and professional endeavours. She expressed enthusiasm about the programme and expressed her excitement to launch such kind of programmes that reflect the commitment of the department to provide students with cutting edge skills that are highly relevant in today’s competitive job market. This programme will not only enhance students’ academic experience but also empower them with practical skills that can significantly enhance their employability. The advanced excel programme will cover a wide array of topics including advanced formulas & functions; data analysis technique; pivot tables & pivot charts; data visualisation etc. Thirty one students have participated in the programme and will also receive certificate of completion, validating their proficiency in Advanced Excel techniques.
